What to think about before you buy
Measure your yard first
The 100 ft slip and slide needs about 110 feet of length and 10 feet of width on flat, rock-free grass. The 50 ft needs roughly 60 feet. Add a clear run-out area at the end either way. A gentle downhill slope makes the ride faster but is not required.
Who is sliding?
Both lengths work for kids age 5 and up and for adults. The best slip and slide for adults is the 100 ft — the longer run builds more speed. Two people can slide side by side on the 10 ft width of either length.
How the water works
There is no built-in sprinkler to break. Set your own garden hose or an oscillating lawn sprinkler at the top of the run and the water sheets down the plastic. On a long run, a hose splitter lets you add water halfway down.
